Horse-drawn buggies are everywhere east of the city, especially on Routes 340 and 772 around Bird-in-Hand and Intercourse. Slow down, pass only where it's safe and give them plenty of room, and don't honk. Ask before taking photos of Amish people, and expect many Amish-run shops and farm stands to be closed on Sundays.
